Lockdown at the Gardens

The Gardens are open winter hours throughout the country’s second lockdown in November. So they are available to all from 8am weekdays (10am weekends) until 4pm every day. Sadly volunteers aren’t able to work in the Gardens until lockdown is over, but the gardeners will be present every day.

Given the difficulty of maintaining social distancing, the pavilions and the Dorothy Fox education centre remain closed until further notice. The bear pit is also closed for now, although we hope it will reopen once the current lockdown is over.
