Volunteering in the Gardens

Volunteers are working hard to help keep the Gardens beautiful. The specialist propagation team volunteered for 246 hours during June, while those working in the Gardens provided another 264 hours.

To comply with restrictions on the size of gatherings, volunteer teams have been spreading their time in the Gardens over different days of the week, rather than just working on Wednesday mornings as was traditionally the case. This greater flexibility is likely to continue even as restrictions ease.

If you’re interested in getting involved, find out more on our Volunteer page. We’re hoping to get new volunteers working in the Gardens very soon.
