Trees and Commemoration

Our next lecture will be by Dr Camilla Allen, this Monday evening (11th April). She will talk to us about three forms of commemoration with trees: Britain's three tree cathedrals, the role of sacred groves in saving California's coast redwoods and Sheffield's commemorative WW1 street trees.

The lecture will take place live at 7.30pm in the Dorothy Fox Centre in the Gardens. Free to Friends. Members of the public are welcome to join us for just £5 on the door. We also hope to stream the lecture live via Zoom and to include a recording on the password-protected Friends Area of our website. The Zoom details have been shared with Friends via email.
