Welcome to our new website!

The new website for the Friends of the Botanical Gardens, Sheffield went live in late November 2020. It means people can now subscribe to become a Friend online for the first time, as well as buy plants, books and greeting cards in the new online shop we’re piloting, and even donate to the Friends through the website.

Thanks to everyone who helped develop the site over the past few months, to our previous webmaster Alison, who masterminded our original website in 2010 and always kept it lively and up-to-date, and to the photographers who’ve supplied such great shots of the Gardens and our activities over the years.

We’re also grateful to Jaywing, the Sheffield-based marketing company, who offered so much pro bono support and advice about how to present ourselves online and in print, and to Katy of The Wheel Exists for her expert guidance, endless patience and cheerful support in developing exactly the site we wanted.
