Tuesday Talk, Tour and EGM
Join us tomorrow (28 June) for a talk on garden pests, a public tour of the Gardens with a focus on early summer flowers, and the election of a new chair for the Friends!
The EGM (extraordinary general meeting) will be at 10.30am in the Dorothy Fox Education Centre, and will just last a few minutes as the membership elects Carolyn Clark as our chair, immediately followed by the lecture from Sally Smith, provocatively titled ‘There are no Garden Pests.’ Members of the public are welcome to join us for the talk for £5 on the door.
The public tour starts at 1pm, from the Thompson Road gates to the south of the Gardens and will last about an hour. No need to book. There is no charge, although donations of £3 are welcome.
