Tuesday Talk & Tour

Join us tomorrow (Tuesday 25th October) for a double treat - a practical demonstration on growing South African bulbs and then a Halloween-themed tour of the Gardens!

At 10.30am in the Education Centre, Colin Hickman of Hoyland Plant Centre will show us how to grow and propagate Agapanthus and nerines, both in pots and in the ground. The demo is free for Friends and £5 for members of the public.

Then at 1pm we’re offering a tour of Gardens, exploring plants that are weird, wonderful and possibly poisonous, in the lead up to Halloween. Meet at the Thompson Road gates for 1pm. Tours are free, but £3 donations welcome.
