Thanks to John Grimshaw for an inspiring talk this morning on the horticulture, places and people who have influenced him over almost 50 years as a gardener. A recording of the lecture is available in the password-protected Friends Area of the website.

We were delighted to be joined for the live-stream by people from east and west coast USA, Canada, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands and many parts of the UK, all keen to hear John’s talk. For non-members, tickets are available for all our lectures as listed on the Events page.

John will be lecturing again later this week, this time on trees, as part of a programme of talks at the Yorkshire Arboretum.
