New Book on the Gardens

Our historian Alison Hunter is delighted to announce the publication of her history of the Gardens. Available in a limited hardback edition of 130 copies, the book is called Sheffield Botanical Gardens: A Haven for Pleasure and Learning. Illustrated with almost 200 images, many in colour, the book tells the story of the Gardens from earliest times until today, and is based on Alison’s extensive research over many years.

Copies will cost £24.95 and will initially be on sale at Friends meetings.
