National Tree Week Events

Join us on Tuesday (November 29th) for a splendid pair of themed events for National Tree Week. From 10.30am in the Dorothy Fox Education Centre we have a talk by Catherine Nuttgens of the Woodland Trust, on the challenges of managing and protecting Sheffield’s trees and woodlands, particularly in the face of the changing climate. £5 on the door. Free for Friends.

Then at 1pm we are offering a public tour of the Gardens, looking at some of the wonderful trees in our collections. Meet at the Thompson Road gates. Our public tours are free, but a donation of £3 to the Gardens is welcomed.
