Jill Thompson

We are saddened to share news of the death of our Chair, Jill Thompson. She passed away peacefully at St Luke’s Hospice during the night of 23 October.

We are all so deeply grateful for her indefatigable work for the Friends over the last two years, carrying us successfully through the many difficulties presented by the pandemic, and her continued interest in the society right up to the very latest stages of her illness.

Peter Kohn is currently acting as chair and will share details of the funeral arrangements with Friends, once we know them.
