Season’s Greetings

Merry Christmas to all from the Friends of the Botanical Gardens. We’re grateful to everyone who has helped keep the Gardens beautiful over this difficult year. They have been a great solace and pleasure for many.

Remember that Christmas Day is the one day of the year when our gardeners get some well-deserved time off, and so the Gardens will be CLOSED on Friday. Between Boxing Day and 2 January closing time will be an hour earlier than normal at 3pm.

Then from Sunday 3rd January we return to normal Winter hours: 8am till 4pm weekdays and 10am till 4pm at weekends. We are hoping for a new year of activities and events in the Gardens, and wish everyone a peaceful, happy and healthy 2021.
