Funding New Plants

Regular visitors will have noticed the extensive new planting that has been happening at the Thompson Road entrance to the Gardens, much of it funded by the Friends.

Head Gardener Andrea Jones and her team have been clearing some of the old, overgrown trees and shrubs that made it a rather gloomy place, and adding plants to bring more colour and fragrance for those coming in to the Gardens from the south.
