RHS Garden Harlow Carr Trip

Our first coach trip of 2024 will be to the Royal Horticultural Society’s Gardens at Harlow Carr in Harrogate. As the RHS website explains, ‘the landscape here is diverse, with managed woodlands, streamside plantings, lavish and ornamental herbaceous borders, wildflower meadows and small-scale model gardens. Collectively they illustrate different garden styles, types of planting, methods of supporting wildlife, ideas for greening grey spaces, and strategies for mitigating the effects of extreme weather.’

There is a Betty’s Tea Room on site for sit-down meals, plus a Betty’s shop and tea house for takeway food and drinks. The site also includes a large RHS Garden Centre.

This trip is for Friends only.  The cost is £24 per person, which covers the coach fare and a small amount for a guided tour of the gardens.

Places are limited, so please let Lorraine Milne know if you would like to join us on fobs.daytrips@gmail.com Lorraine will be running a waiting list once the trip is fully booked, in case of late drop-outs.
